Aisha Adly

Born in Gaza, Palestinian journalist and documentary filmmaker. Starting her journey as a photographer, she held three solo exhibitions that captured the human dimension of life in Gaza before transitioning into cinema, earning a diploma in directing and screenwriting. After her debut documentary, Yalla ‘Aldabkeh, supported by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, Adly pivoted to documenting the unseen scars of the current conflict. Her recent work includes the feature documentary +477 Nights and the film project Wahn, a poignant examination of the harrowing experience of pregnancy under genocide.
