Kanika Parwal

Kanika Parwal is an arts educator and researcher whose practice spans institutional programming, participatory facilitation, and performance, anchored in questions of how knowledge is made and held across the body, material, and community. She holds an MPhil in Arts, Creativity and Education from the University of Cambridge and the Young India Fellowship from Ashoka University.

Her MPhil research developed a pedagogical framework of (k)nots for thinking through entanglement, transgression, and embodied knowledge. She has facilitated workshops on this framework at institutions including FICA, Azim Premji University, and the Faculty of Education, Cambridge, with a forthcoming book chapter on creative pedagogies through the Possibility Studies Network. In 2026, she also facilitated a workshop module titled Body-as-Poetry at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology.
