Samira Bose
Curator at Asia Art Archive
Samira Bose is Curator at Asia Art Archive in India, where she conceptualises archival displays, develops discursive programmes, and facilitates artist-led inquiries into the forms and structures of archives. Her recent projects, generated in dialogue with colleagues, include still and moving in archive time: A display of responsive works by Pallavi Arora at AAA in I’s office in New Delhi (2024); two exhibition iterations of Mrinalini Mukherjee’s archive, “mould the wing to match the photograph” at CCG Library, AAA, Hong Kong (2023); “and it is something which grows in all directions” at Project_Space, FICA, New Delhi (2022). Prior to these, she was involved in Translations, Expansions, AAA’s presentation at documenta fifteen (2022); Mobile Library: Nepal in Kathmandu (2021-2022), and an ongoing talk series Inter-Archives Conversations.
