Sudeshna Nandi

Artist | Honorourable Mention, JK Paper Award 2025

Sudeshna Nandi is a visual and installation artist from Badkulla, West Bengal, whose practice engages with natural fibres and recycled paper pulp to reflect on gender, migration and cultural memory. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, where she also completed her BFA in 2023. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions such as In Search of Imperatives held at Kolkata Centre for Creativity (2023) and an exhibition by the National Gallery of Modern Art at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations in  Kolkata (2021). She has also participated in the International Art Camp organised by CRACK Trust in Kushtia, Bangladesh (2022).
